Green Life Cooperative – Youth-led Innovation in Wild Honey Production
Founded by a group of passionate young people in Hợp Tiến commune, Green Life Cooperative was established with a clear mission: to professionalize wild honey production and promote the Hợp Tiến forest honey brand to wider markets. Rather than letting local households raise bees spontaneously, the Cooperative offers a structured, sustainable approach to beekeeping that benefits both nature and the community.
Currently, Green Life operates over 4,000 beehives across a 3-hectare forested area – an ideal environment for producing premium-quality wild honey. The cooperative has invested in a moisture-reduction system, ensuring honey moisture levels remain below 18%, meeting the strict export standards of high-demand markets such as Europe.
In addition, Green Life has successfully implemented and received certification for the ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system – demonstrating its commitment to international quality and safety.
By combining youthful energy with technical knowledge, Green Life Cooperative is not only preserving a local heritage product, but also building a professional, scalable model for rural entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture.
