Founded on July 4, 2019 in Phù Yên District, Sơn La Province, Quang Huy Agricultural Services Cooperative manages around 150 hectares of farmland, with 126–130 hectares certified for organic production. Under the leadership of Director Cầm Thị Ngân, the cooperative has transitioned from traditional rice cultivation to fully organic methods, using eco-friendly farming techniques and organic fertilizers to improve soil health, protect the environment, and enhance rice quality.
The cooperative specializes in high-quality organic rice, featuring varieties such as JO2, Đài Thơm 8, and fragrant local sticky rice. These products are grown using clean mountain spring water and in fertile valley soils, meeting food safety standards and proudly carrying the “Phù Yên Rice” brand – a recognized local specialty.
By applying sustainable farming practices and providing technical training to member households, Quang Huy has successfully increased yields and raised the selling price of organic rice by 20–25% compared to conventional rice. This not only improves farmers’ income but also contributes to the growth of green, sustainable agriculture in Sơn La. The cooperative maintains detailed production records for each farming household and plot, ensuring traceability and consistent product quality.
