Tropico Cooperative – Elevating Vietnam’s Finest Robusta
Rooted in the fertile land of Gia Lai, Tropico Cooperative is devoted to preserving and advancing Vietnam’s finest Robusta coffee region. With a bold mission to bring high-quality Robusta to both domestic and global markets, we launched Kopic Coffee – a premium brand that encapsulates the rich, distinctive essence of Vietnamese coffee.
Over the past five years, we have dedicated ourselves to research, innovation, and community-driven development in specialty coffee. Each year, we collaborate with 5 to 7 farming communities, achieving an average annual output of 15,000 tons of Robusta and 1,000 tons of Arabica. Our operations are certified by globally recognized standards, including Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, 4C, HACCP, Vietcert, and Food Safety Management Systems.
Our unique process begins with selecting only fully ripe cherries and leveraging the natural sweetness of the fruit’s skin through a special fermentation technique. By eliminating unripe beans and drying exclusively on raised beds, we ensure a clean, bold cup with a lingering natural sweetness.
Tropico empowers local farmers through technical support, access to modern equipment, and guaranteed market linkages – cultivating not only world-class coffee but also sustainable livelihoods.
