Key Characteristics
Che Shan Tuyet Ngo Luong is crafted from 100% carefully handpicked Snow Shan tea buds, harvested at dawn when the first light has yet to touch the mountain slopes and the morning dew still lingers on each leaf. This is the golden moment when the tea leaves capture the purest aroma and the concentrated essence of the highland climate, resulting in a brew with a uniquely rich, floral fragrance and a lingering sweetness.
Origin & Selection
The tea comes from ancient Shan Tuyet trees grown in the high mountains of Ngo Luong, where cool temperatures, misty mornings, and pristine soil conditions create ideal growing conditions. Only the youngest, most tender buds are chosen, ensuring the highest quality in every batch.
Processing Method
The leaves are processed on the same day as harvest to preserve their freshness and natural flavor profile. Traditional techniques are applied to maintain the silvery-white “snow” coating on the buds—a signature mark of Shan Tuyet tea—while enhancing the tea’s depth of flavor. The meticulous handling from picking to drying ensures a clean, premium-grade product without the use of additives or preservatives.
Flavor Profile
The infusion offers a bright golden liquor, a pronounced floral aroma with hints of wild honey, and a smooth, mellow taste that evolves into a sweet aftertaste. Its complexity deepens over multiple brews, making it a favorite among tea connoisseurs.
